E-Safety Advice

We know that the world our children are growing up in is changing at such a rapid rate that it can be hard for us as adults to keep up with all the technology our children are exposed to.

Here is a link to an Online Safety Hub where you can access lots of resources and information on how to keep your child safe online.

We also know that children will use the technology that is out there, so our role is to support them to know how to keep themselves safe online. https://nationalonlinesafety.com is a very useful site for advice and support. Below you will find some of their guides entitled "What parents and carers need to know about..."

CEOP's Children and Young People's programme, ThinkuKnow, is used in schools nationwide to educate young people about how to stay safe online.

As parents, you can play a fundamental role in this aspect of their education. To stay up to date with further information and advice, please visit www.thinkuknow.co.uk/parents.
